Aeropuerto Mayhem in Madrid

“Some conversations only happen between departures.”

Overview

While waiting for a delayed flight at a crowded airport terminal, Kellan unexpectedly opens up to Thomas, a friendly flight attendant passing time between assignments. What begins as casual small talk slowly turns into a personal conversation about Kellan’s complicated feelings toward visiting family in Madrid. As the night stretches on, he shares memories, pressure from relatives, and the uncertainty of reconnecting with people he barely knows anymore. Through quiet conversations in empty gate areas and late-night airport cafés, the story focuses on loneliness, family expectations, and the rare comfort of being understood by a stranger.
