Bernard Hopkins vs. Joe Calzaghe

Judgement Day

Overview

The Battle for the Planet - Saturday 19th April 2008, Las Vegas, USA. He stepped up a weight, off a plane, through the ropes and into boxing legend. 707...no, not the super jet but the number of punches thrown by "Super Joe" in a night of high octane fighting action. Calzaghe, in his first ever fight at light heavyweight and his first in Las Vegas took on the fearsome 'Executioner', the powerful fighter and former champion that feared no man. Within seconds of the opening round, Hopkins showed his skill and strength when he put Joe down with a devastating short, straight right hand.
