The Portraitist

A documentary on freedom and childhood. The history of a dream truncated by dictatorship. The tale of a teacher killed and forgotten at home, whose legacy reappears after decades on the other side of the ocean.

Overview

During the 30s, the young Catalan teacher Antoni Benaiges takes office at a rural school in northern Spain.
