A captivating dive into the brief yet bloody chronicles of the pirates of the Indian Ocean (1685–1730). This film brings to life the thrilling and tragic saga of "La Buse"—a French pirate from Calais with a dark, magnetic presence—as well as the enduring legend of his treasure, a fabulous hoard he is said to have once hidden on an island.
